Dizzy O’ Brian is coming from the post modern/minimalist schools of music. If you’re wondering; ‘post modern’ is what came after modern. You would think that modern music kind of implies that it is music being made now, but things don’t work this way in the musical world. Modern music is old now, at least fifty years, I should say, and where were you, anyway? It went right by you, and we’ve been through post modern, too.
It’s all enough to make you, well…a bit dizzy, and who wants to listen to a bunch of old modern music? So there you have it; labels are for beer, not music.
