CLING skilfully build songs that are deceptively light but in fact contain real depth and texture, the layers of cleverly programmed sounds successfully contrasting and complementing in equal measure. Warm, unusual and beguiling.

2006 saw CLING release the debut CD Sonic Spells which has been very well received by critics and audience alike. The music from Sonic Spells has been played on numerous radio shows and Podcasts and has also been used for cult Internet TV show The Scene, this was a very successful venture for both parties. CLING also provided the music for a 30sec TV advertisement for Danviva (Polish division of Danone). Danviva liked the music very much and commissioned a full 3 minute version for use on the company website. In early 2007 CLING collaborated with ambient duo Stuart Elliot and Emil Anderberg from Dream Lab the result “Silver Skies” is to be released on a forthcoming Dream Lab CD.

In March 2007 the single “Yours” was released as a digital download and due to the demand for a CD version Sonic Spells EXTENDED was released and contains all of the tracks from the original Sonic Spells CD plus the tracks from the “Yours EP“

CLING have now started performing live and have played at The Ambient Picnic Festival in July and are opening the Oxford Urban Arts Festival in September

Although on CD the music of CLING is very chilled the songs have been remixed especially for live performances and we also have a visual presentation (VJ) that compliments our set for use in venues with the necessary facilities. We are at present producing a “Live Versions” Podcast of our live set to give listeners an idea of what to expect. It will also be made available as a mixed media CD complete with the visual projection used to compliment our music
